​​Our client is a a young start-up based in Surrey. They are small team of 8 people. Their playground is a very specific and niche market where we are delivering high end solutions for coding, marking and traceability needs.

They are currently working directly (or indirectly) with many well-known household brands. We also have representation worldwide in currently 45 active countries and counting fast.

They are on the verge of releasing our latest development and this will create a massive flux of business. They are expecting to double their turnover next year. Still, they are growing at a very fast but steady pace.

Because They would like to stay ahead of the game they are opening a new position. They are actively looking their next shooting star.

You should be a motivated and skilful hardware/software engineer designer with some flair and a “je ne sais quoi” which makes you so special.

R&D’s is the most important department for them and they are investing a substantial amount of money to fund it.

Reporting directly to the MD you will be the driving force of the development. You job will consist to:

1.       Assist and update existing products for some of the bespoke solutions we are offering to our customers.

2.       Your most important duty will be in the development of the future new products. You will be given guidance and training on the existing products so you can understand the market and the products.

As a guidance your time should be split as following:

·         70% on new development.

·         10% on bespoke solution for existing products (liaising with third parties).

·         20% of your time you should be free to solely shine with your own ideas and development.

From time to time you will be required to visit their customers (UK and Abroad) in order to help to install systems. You presence might also be required during visit abroad, whether we are visiting a distributor, helping an end-users, visiting a show or simply exhibiting during an exhibition.

Their R&D’s at the moment resumed at being done by third party companies who are helping us to achieve what we order.
